My name is Amy Klein, Franchisee and Instructor for KidzArt of Colorado. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Otis College of Art in Los Angeles, where I lived for 12 years and worked for the world's largest toy company! After moving to Denver, I have continued my freelancing and have been teaching KidzArt classes since 2005. Being an Illustrator myself, I am passionate about KidzArt's wonderful drawing-based curriculum and the fun, enriching programs we have to offer! I am excited to head up this exceptional program in the Denver Metropolitan area. - Blair Bennink, Certified Instructor
Blair has been working in Art and Design for over 20 years. He has a degree in Graphic Design and has worked as a Technical and Fine Art Illustrator as well as Art Director in corporate Art Departments. Blair has also studied Mechanical and Architectural rendering and currently is a freelance Designer and Illustrator. Blair lives in Castle Rock with his wife Lisa. - Chris Stuart, Certified Instructor
Chris has a degree in Art Education from University of Nebraska. She has taught all age groups Art and Crafts. She especially loves the young children who seem to be without the fear of drawing and are free spirits! Chris has her own business, designing art collages using fabric. She creates intricate landscapes cutting up various colors and textures of fabrics which she then quilts. Her work can be seen at shows throughout the area . Given my love of children and passion for art it's no surprise I love teaching at KidzArt. I have a BA in Elementary Education, MA in Human Development and over 20 years of experience and continue my education with various classes and seminars. My husband and I have been married since 1985. We have two daughters and a son. I am involved in our church, 4H club, community programs and photography group. I'm Sheila Cain and I am so very happy to be working with Kidz Art this year. I have a Bachelor of fine arts degree from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. I have been a graphic designer for fifteen years and I still freelance. I have taught a pastel and a ceramic class at Arapahoe Community College and I currently work as a preschool teacher in Englewood. I live in Lone Tree with my husband Damon, children Shelby, Jordan and Dylan. We also have a 3 year black Lab named Sammy and a 2 year old Shih tzu, named Gizmo. - Christina Ridder, Certified Instructor
I have lived in Highlands Ranch since 1991. I have twin sons that are sophomores at Thunderridge High School and I have been married for 19 years to Ken Ridder, an optometrist in the area. In 2006 I earned my degree in interior design and worked for 3.5 years as a commercial interior designer. I love to spend time with family and friends, read, exercise, ski, travel, and spend time outdoors in beautiful Colorado! Join the KidzArt Team!
